The Kenya Horticultural Society was established in 1923 and we celebrated our centenary this year, 2023. Like our members today, the founders shared an interest in flowers, plant, trees and gardens. Today our range of interests are broader, reflecting the concerns and needs of the modern world. Today's members are passionate about biodiversity, the preservation of public parks and forests, permaculture, and the environment.
Together we make up an active and vibrant society for anyone with a passion for plants – be they a professional, a keen amateur or a total beginner.
